How to Add a Cap Strap to Your Gas Can Spout

In this guide, we’ll quickly show you how to add a cap strap to your patented EZ-POUR® spout. Every EZ-POUR® spout comes with a cap strap that can be easily assembled.

To attach the Cap Strap to Your Gas Can Spout:

  1. Hold the strap and form a loop like so:

  1. Slide the loop over your spout and pull tight until the circular end of the loop passes over the two bumps of the strap
  2. Finally, run the knotted end of your strap through either of the openings on your cap
