With an EZ-POUR® Universal Replacement Spout, you’ll be able to pour fluid easily from your gas, diesel, and water cans again. This spout works with multiple brands, but some cans will require an adapter. Continue reading for a full list of compatible cans.
Compatible Gas Cans
The first step in identifying which brand of gas can you currently own is to check for a label. If age and usage have worn your label out, compare it to the ones pictured on EZ-POUR®’s gallery. This will show the following compatible cans:
- Blitz
- Briggs
- Eagle
- Essence
- Gott
- Igloo
- Rubbermaid
- Scepter
- Stancan
- Wedco
Compatible Water Cans
Cans that contain fuel are red for gasoline, yellow for diesel, and dark blue for kerosene. Water cans tend to be a lighter blue but can be held in many different types of containers. If you have a watering can that needs a replacement spout, EZ-POUR® will fit brands such as:

- Igloo
- Scepter
Cans That Require Adapters
A few cans, like Chilton and those made of metal, require adapters. The Chilton adapter allows an EZ-POUR® Spout to be used with the following cans:
- Chilton
- Anchor
EZ-POUR®’s metal can adapters fit old metal cans with 1 1/2″ and 1 3/4″ necks. These include:
- Metal Eagle
- Metal Gasser
- Metal Kerosene
- Stancan Super Can
